rascal
Come for the chaos. Stay for the art.
A citywide art scavenger hunt created in Baltimore.
What is Rascal?
RASCAL is a fast-moving art scavenger hunt that transforms Baltimore into a space for play, discovery, and creative connection.
When hunt time begins, participants receive a series of visual clues leading them to locations across the city. Hidden at select stops are original works of art waiting to be found and claimed.
Every edition introduces new artwork, new locations, new community partners, and a completely new route through Baltimore.
The Mission
RASCAL brings original art into the rhythm of everyday life.
Created by artist Ayana Gordon through AAMP’d, the project invites people to explore Baltimore with curiosity, experience familiar places from a fresh perspective, and connect with art outside of traditional spaces.
RASCAL is rooted in organized chaos, community participation, and the freedom to tap back into your inner child. Everyone is invited to play, discover, and experience the excitement of finding something created by hand.

A NEW HUNT EVERY TIME
RASCAL changes with every edition.
The locations shift. The clues evolve. New artists, businesses, and neighborhoods enter the game. Even returning players begin each hunt without knowing exactly where the day will lead.
The result is a temporary experience shaped by the artwork, the city, and everyone moving through it together.
